The Ophthalmoscope the Instrument Used to Check Eyes


The ophthalmoscope, the instrument used to look at the back of the eye through the pupil, allows the blood vessels to the surface of the retina. These blood vessels entering the eye through a circular region of the retina called decolorized the optical disc. It is also at this place, which is the head of the optic nerve, the ganglion cell axons converge to exit the eyeball.

Given the absence of photoreceptors in this area, the eye is insensitive to light, as indeed go where larger blood vessels. It is for this reason that the optical disc also receives the name of blind spot. Yet we do not feel any interruption in our visual field blind spot because the brain “compensates” somehow visual perception at these locations (see capsule experience left).

In the center of the retina is a darkest part, the macula, which is substantially devoid of blood vessels to optimize the central vision (as opposed to the peripheral vision). In the center of the macula, a small depression creates a black spot of about 2 mm diameter. This is the fovea, the point of the retina consists exclusively of cones where visual acuity is best.



Several vision problems can arise when light rays do not converge exactly on the retina.

If the eyeball is too short from front to back, for example, the rays converge beyond the retina. This defect called hyperopia is corrected by placing a convex lens in front of the eye lens that will accentuate the convergence and reduce the focus on the retina.

In the case of myopia, the convergence is done in front of the retina when the eyeball is too long, for example. Myopia by wearing concave lenses are corrected.
Another blurred vision, presbyopia, has a hardening of the lens related to age. This tightening reduces the elasticity of the lens, preventing him from taking a sufficiently rounded shape during accommodation and flatten enough during relaxation. The correction of presbyopia uses a bifocal lens, the upper portion being concave for distance vision and the lower convex portion for near vision.

Whenever we eat something, it affects our body. To keep our body healthy and vigorous we should focus over diet which must be full of right amount of nutrition. For this our diet must be balanced diet. Balance diet means eating such food items which contains Carbohydrates, Vitamins, Proteins, Mineral Salts, Fiber, Fats, Cholesterol, and refined sugar, because these things are crucial for healthy body.

CARBOHYDRATES: Deliver vigor to our body, without this our body cannot function well. Moreover if we don't take carbohydrates in sufficient amount then it will be the reason of fatigue for us. Our routine diet must have more than 50% of carbohydrates. We can take carbohydrates from dried fruits like apples, prunes, bananas, dates etc, but these items must be taken in moderate because these have high dietary fibers and numerous vitamins which may be the reason of sugar desire.

PROTEINS: Proteins are very necessary for our body to perform it regular and better functions as these help us to fight against many infections. These are essence that's found in all cells of the individual body. These help to protect body tissues and develop hair, skin, eyes, muscles and hormones. These are big sources of energy and forms antibodies that help to prevent the human from several diseases. These are found in meat, poultry, seafood, dairy, eggs and many plant-based foods.

VITAMINS: Lack of vitamins in body can upset our health. The main sources of vitamins are Milk, Fruits, Vegetable Oils, Oats, and Wheat. For better health we should add the adequate amount of fruits, green vegetables, milk and eggs. 

WATER: Water is very necessary for our life and body. It is helpful in digesting the food and through using right amount of water we can save ourselves from diseases like dull skin, joint pains etc. We can also overcome on the problem of obesity by drinking proper amount of water. It must be our habit to drink 10 to 12 glass of water every day.

FATS: Some people have misapprehension that fats are harmful but facts are different as it protects our life supporting organs like liver and kidney. Fats play vital roles in building healthy cells, hormones, and healthier skin. 

MINERAL SALTS: Minerals like sodium, chloride, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, iron, magnesium, sulfur, zinc etc. play very important role in right function of our body. As our body does not produce minerals itself, so we should select those food items such as nuts, grains, milk, eggs, fish, fruits, vegetables, iodized salt, almonds etc. because these are the sources of minerals.

But it is very sad when they know that they are not able to bear a baby. Normally infertility problem is considered to be the problem of women but mostly it is not a reality, unfortunately most people don't know that more than half of the infertility cases are due to male infertility. If a woman is not getting pregnant, the reason may be of her husband. Up to one year after marriage if a wife does not conceive, both should have to consult with doctor for medical examination for taking their tests. 

Men should not feel ashamed due to infertility; mostly men feel shame taking the test for infertility. Neither men are ready to accept this fact nor are they ready to realize the fact that their partner is not conceiving because of them. The problem of infertility can be treated through medication. This problem may be due to any illness, disease, accident or low sperm count. The people having sexually transmitted disease (STD) may face more chances of infertility. Some people, by birth carried in diseases; due to this the semen of men does not ejaculated during intercourse. Diabetes may also another cause of infertility. Some other factors such as high blood pressure, obesity, heart & cholesterol problems may also cause for infertility. Some of psycho-pathological disorders are the major factors, like stress, anxiety, and lack of self-confidence may also be a cause for infertility. Sexual drugs also affect fertility.

Doctors advise treatment of infertility problem for every infected person in different ways keeping in view their problem or situation, because some may have the problem of low sperm count, so they need different treatment and some other may have the problems of high blood pressure, obesity, diabetes etc. So accordingly they need different treatment.

MEASURES TO SAVE YOURSELF FROM INFERTILITY:-
1:- Taking a proper diet plan. Especially Zinc, Abundant Green leafy Vegetables, Citrus Fruit, Sea Food, Olive Oil and dried Nuts.

2:- Male should use to have Regular Exercise and Inhale Oxygen along fertility supplements frequently.

3:- Avoid yourself from smoking, drinking alcohol excessively, taking drugs, using steroids etc.

4:- Infertility patients should change their life style such as food and taking exercise, because healthier male can better overcome on infertility matter.

5:- Take the chances of impregnating your wife just two to three times in a week.
